Her Morning

A man stands before a mirror
Showerhaze obscures his face as he dries
his shoulder-length hair
His hips square with his shoulders
and a stomach protruding in front
He dries his fresh-shaven legs and you catch a glimpse of his stubbled chin
He ignores your gaze as he dresses
Pill bottles
Spironolactone and estradiol rest below the mirror
He doesn't bother taking any
and exits the bathroom

The Angel

I met an angel the other day
She was beautiful
Her wings glowed a brilliant white
Her smile so warm and peaceful

She died frozen
Forgotten on the streets
There was no name on her grave

I met an angel the other day
She had a pretty name
I met an angel
The scars on her wrists were faded

In Heaven

Nobody will hurt you ever again
I'll hold you close to me and nobody will hurt you
You're safe now and nothing can hurt you
We can live free
We can be who we are
And nobody will judge us
You are beautiful
There is no pain here
You're safe now
It will all be okay
Everyone will call you by your name
It's safe here
There's nothing to fear anymore
I love you

Confessions of a Slug

>you should go outside
Why. I don't have anything to do out there
>you need to live life like a person
I know
>so do it
No
>why
Because I don't know what to do
>do anything
Like what
>i dont know
Okay. I'll just look at my phone for the next 6 hours then. Until you think of something

The sky was not empty
But rather full with black stars
